da 888: Making his first competitive start for the club following a summer move from Spanish side SD Huesca, Samu Saiz bagged an impressive hat-trick as he gave the home fans a taste of exactly what he could be capable of producing in the Championship this season.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring in 12th minute when he finished via the post, before adding a second on the hour-mark when he took the ball past the Vale keeper before sliding the ball into the net.
Saiz saved the best until last though as he met Caleb Ekuban’s back-heel before firing into the roof of the net.
Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on the performance of the Spaniard via social media, and they were full of praise for the forward with some describing him as Premier League class, while others are already predicting that he will be the club’s player of the season.
