da brwin: Lots of Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after Wilfried Zaha delivered a five-star performance for the Ivory Coast in their 3-1 win over DR Congo.
da prosport bet: The Eagles No.11 assisted Arsenal’s £72m man Nicolas Pepe for his country’s second goal of the game, before former Palace winger Yannick Bolasie played a part in DR Congo’s only goal of the match to make it 2-1.
Zaha weaved his way in and out of some hapless defending before squaring for Pepe to flick into an empty net, and then went on to secure the win for his country with a fine goal in the 95th minute.
The 26-year-old deceived his marker with a step-over, before lashing into the back of the net via his weaker left foot to crown what was an excellent performance, and one that hasn’t gone unnoticed amongst Palace fans on Twitter.
One supporter said “he’s back” after watching Zaha’s goal, while another said it was a “joke” that England let the mercurial forward slip through their fingers.
Let’s take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction…
