da winzada777: As reported by The Mirror, Sam Allardyce is hoping to bring a former player to Crystal Palace to boost their chances of staying up this season.
What’s the word?
da prosport bet: Crystal Palace are facing a tough relegation fight in the coming months and this last week of the January transfer window could be vitally important to those chances.
One man Allardyce is reported to be looking to in an effort to enhance his squad is Yann M’Vila, who Allardyce had on loan at Sunderland last season.
The Mirror reckon he has an £11m buy out clause in his contract at Russian club Rubin Kazan and that Allardyce is considering activating it.
The man to keep them up?
Yann M’Vila has experience of a relegation dogfight and was one of Sunderland’s most effective players last season during their survival bid, led by Sam Allardyce.
The Eagles manager managed to get the best out of M’Vila and the Frenchman would be a big influence in Palace’s midfield too.
Allardyce’s side are scoring many more goals than the teams around them in the relegation fight but it’s the ease at which they ship goals at the other end which is making fans nervous.
M’Vila would add a much needed defensive and physical presence in the middle of the park, protecting the Eagles’ backline.
Whether that would keep them up remains to be seen, but the reported interest in the midfielder makes perfect sense to us.
